Serum Therapy
definition
The use of serum to target and eliminate irregularities in the body or the skin.
Serum Therapy is a new and exciting treatment that utilises the serum from your own blood to create a new super serum with the ability to act on your skin hygenically and effectively. Through centrifugation, serum is extracted and treated to enable it to interact with your skin. Combined with microneedling techniques, the serum is applied directly into the skin in order to stimulate collagen production, resurfacing and renewal. Also known as the vampire facial, see what the wonders of your own blood can do for your anti ageing dreams.

PRP
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) skin treatment is a natural therapy utilising your body’s own blood to promote skin healing. The nutrient rich serum in PRP generated from your own blood is applied to the face and micro-needled into the skin during a short procedure. Using the healing effects of your body’s own plasma and the essential chemicals in the PRP formula initiates accelerated promotion of skin rejuvenation, tightening and smoothing where you want it most.
Is there downtime expected?
You may experience some skin redness post treatment, however the PRP serum features natural anti inflammatory properties that will help with rapid recovery.
How many treatments will I need?
For optimum effectiveness, we recommend four PRP treatments spaced two to four weeks apart, followed by yearly ‘top-ups’. Expect noticeable results within three weeks, and great results after your fourth plasma treatment.
What areas can I treat with serum therapy?
The options are limitless with serum therapy. Forehead wrinkles, undereye wrinkles, crepey chest skin, neck wrinkles, stretch marks, age spots, the list goes on!
Please tell your clinician as soon as possible if you have an infection, low platelet count, are taking blood thinners (such as Warfarin or aspirin), are pregnant or breastfeeding, using anti-inflammatory medications, or are allergic to a local anaesthetic agent.
