Double chin treatment

Non-invasive, non-surgical, double chin/ fat dissolving injections have similar results to liposuction. Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of a double chin. Made from synthetic deoxycholic acid which occurs in natural body and assists with the breakdown and reabsorption of dietary fat cells which reduces the submental fullness (double chin)Treatment should only be done by an experienced doctor with facial anatomy or under the supervision of an experienced doctor as the neck can be a high risk area due to the nerves and some large blood vessels. And is only to be prescribed by a doctor.

Treatment time takes no more than 45mins (including anaesthetic time). With visible results in 2-4 treatments, where treatment sessions are no less or more than 4-6weeks apart. Maximum up to 6 treatment sessions may be given. And results last varies depending on your body metabolism between 4 years to permanent. The amount given is determined by the doctor and the amount of excess fat you may have under your chin.

Recommended for clients between the ages of 18-65 years old. Side effects to be expected post-treatment are: bruising, pain, redness and some swelling of skin under the chin, numbness/ decreased sensitivity/ tingly for a few weeks following. You may use ice/cold packs, paracetamol, and ibuprofen to reduce the side effects.

Not recommended for pregnant or lactating women, client who is being treated with antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy (bleeding disorder), or on a controlled sodium level diet.

Some allergic reactions may include:
